Year 6 carried out an investigation to model Charles Darwin's finches. They used spoons, chopsticks, tweezers and pegs to represent the beaks. They were given marbles, rubber bands, paper clips and seeds to represent the food. They investigated how many of each 'food' they could pick up with each 'beak' and linked their results to Darwin's finches
