The aims of our science curriculum at Cedars are,

to ensure that all pupils;

• develop a scientific knowledge and conceptual understanding through  the specific disciplines of Biology, Chemistry and Physics;
• develop an understanding of the nature, process and methods of science through different types of scientific enquiries that help children to ask and answer scientific questions about the world around them;
• all children are equipped with the scientific vocabulary and knowledge to understand its uses and implications in the world today and in the future.
