Outdoor learning

The children will have constant access to the outside learning area, so please ensure they are dressed accordingly.  A named coat should be provided on most days. You are welcome to bring in a pair of wellies for your child to wear in the colder months. We are happy to look after these in school if this makes it easier for you.

Homework 

The children will bring home their homework book on Thursday. They will have until Monday to complete the homework in the books. This homework gives you an opportunity to talk to your child about what they have been learning about in school.

Your child will also be given 'Little Explorer' challenges which asks to children to complete different challenges relating to the learning that will take place in school. This could be a spotting different colours or going on an Autumn walk. 

Reading

Your child will bring home a library book every Thursday for you to share at home with them. Your child will visit the school library on a Wednesday where they will select the book they want to bring home.
