Important Information

Miss Adam would like to encourage children to bring in water bottles and a piece of fruit or snack if they wish. Book bags should be brought in each day so children can read to an adult at school. Homework sheets, and knowledge organisers are given out for every half term. These will provide all the information you need to support your child's learning each half term. 

PE Lessons

5A will have 2 lessons every Tuesday and Thursday. Children throughout the year will also be taking part in outdoor learning which includes activities such as canoeing.  Please make sure they have PE kit in school every week. Please ensure your child has their full PE kit in school.  

Homework

Homework is given out every Thursday and is to be returned to school on the following Monday. The homework will include activities that consolidate the week's lessons and secure the learning. Please support the spellings and the activities we send home. Children will have online homework with passwords in their reading record.

Reading

Reading is a fundamental aspect to your child's learning. Listening to your child read at home is one of the most important ways you can support your child's learning. Please aim to listen to your child read at least three times a week and remember to write a comment and sign their reading record. This will allow staff to see how often your child is reading at home.
