At Cedars, we have created an overview of teaching which links closely to our core texts. We think carefully about how we can build a child's love of learning and reading in preparation for the wider community and their educational future.  

We use the Development Matters Statements to create an enriched and purposeful curriculum for our children. We use the statements to create an overview of teaching ideas to support adults in planning and delivering quality- first teaching linked to the seven areas of learning, through indoor and outdoor provision in preparation for Year 1.
