Important information

Things to remember:

Mrs Pathan would like to encourage children to bring in water bottles and a piece of fruit or healthy snack if they wish. Book bags should be brought in each day so children can read to an adult at school. Homework sheets, knowledge organisers are given out for every half term. These will provide all the information you need to support your child's learning each half term. 

PE Lessons:

*Year 5 will have PE on Wednesdays and Thursdays, during  the Summer term, therefore, please ensure that your child has a PE kit in every lesson. 

Homework:

Homework is given out every Thursday and is to be returned to school on the following Monday. The homework will include activities that consolidate the week's lessons and secure the learning. Please support the spellings and the activities we send home and ensure the children bring their spelling Log Book to school everyday! Children should also be completing their online Maths homework on: Mathletics Sign In

Reading

Reading is a fundamental aspect to your child's learning. Listening to your child read at home is one of the most important ways you can support your child's learning. Please aim to listen to your child read at least three times a week and remember to write a comment and sign their reading record. This will allow staff to see how often your child is reading at home. Please also encourage your child to use reading opportunities to collect quality vocabulary in their reading records.
