“Miss Bowling Ball… err, what brings you here?” questioned Wallace with his mouth wide open. Still in shock, Wallace stared at her. He remembered when Miss Bowling Ball was the most famous celebrity in all of England!
“I’ve got something you might be interested in. Why don’t you take me out for a drink and I’ll tell you all about it?” whispered Miss Bowling Ball to Wallace, so Gromit couldn’t really hear.
“Sounds like a splendid idea, Miss Bowling Ball!” he gushed, as his cheeks glowed a rosy red colour.
Within seconds, Wallace grabbed his coat and hurried out of the door with the stranger, completely forgetting about his loyal companion. As Gromit watched them walking down the path, Gromit’s eyes began to water. He was all alone.
