St. George and the Dragon display board

We have been reading the story of St. George and the Dragon.  We wrote about the story too.  Some children copied the words they had spoken, others used a model to write their sentences. Some children wrote extra information that they had thought of themselves, others used a text map to help them tell the whole story.

Classroom Nouns

Our Year 2 - 5 class have been learning some new verbs.  We have been learning about the things that hands can do.  We learned a new rhyme:

On my left and on my right

I look down

And there I see...

My hands.

We played a game called Cross the River to help us memorise the verbs.

We have been making calendars and trioramas to welcome 2018. We wrote in our own language too.
