This week we will be looking at the story, Lost and Found by Oliver Jeffers.

Tuesday

Today, please read or listen to the story Lost and Found. There is a link below to a YouTube 

video of an audiobook of the story.  Act out the story using the stick puppets attached. If you cannot print them, why not make your own? Retell the story with the character puppets.

Read or listen to Lost and Found again. What is the setting? Who are the characters? What happens first? What happens next? What happens last? Complete these questions using the template or writing them out onto paper. 

 

Please write in full sentences. Remember, sentences need a capital letter, finger spaces and a full stop. 

 

 

Thursday

Listen to the story again.

 

Today, you will sequence the story. Put the pictures in the right order. Then, write a caption to match each picture about what is happening. 

Friday

 

Can you retell the story of Lost and Found?

 

Remember to include:

 

  • a capital letter to start a sentence
  • finger spaces between your words
  • a full stop to end a sentence
  • super adjectives to describe
